Workforce Readiness Program for US Vets

Mike Hulser has recently become a volunteer counselor in the ‘Workforce Readiness” program at US VETS, a nationwide non-profit dedicated to getting homeless US military veterans back on their feet as productive members of society.
The US VETS facility in Kalaeloa (formerly Barbers Point) has residential facilities for up to 200 single veterans. In the Workforce Readiness program, Mike works with the veterans on such things as:
- Resume writing
- Interviewing
- Positively presenting yourself
- Traits employers are looking for
- Business Plan development
